PARTICULARITIES

Figure 1.5 shows the most simple shape for a roller punched brush. Often one must manufacture more complex brushes. For example it could be necessary, for the mounting of the brush, a core (backing) with particular toolings, as turnings, millings, cone-shaped parts, tongue seats, snap ring seats, threaded holes.
In all these cases is evident that the data on Table 1.5 are insufficient to execute the brush: a WORKING DRAWING is necessary. Generally the drawing is supplied by the customer because of his knowledge of all the required dimensions. Our Technical Department can guide you in planning the most suitable brush to solve your problems. Concerning the tooling tolerances, for metallic cores (beckings) one can observe those normally used in mechanics. For synthetic cores one must instead foresee more wide tolerances. We can supply, on request, the brush completed with steel shaft, with toolings for the mounting and movement of the brush. Special elements can be mounted on request:heli coils, screw studs, etc.
Finally, by using particular trimming methods, we can execute brushing surfaces which are not cylindrical or brushing surfaces on cylinders with different diameters, in order to obtain a perfect fitness between brush and treated element.
