GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The RING BRUSHES consist of two ferrules that hold an inner metallic ring and the bristle (Figure 3.1). In this way we obtain a thin circular brush, with flanges and hole.
The main characteristic of the ring brushes is their modularity. In fact they can be used as a single brush, but more often they are mounted side by side on a shaft forming a roller brush. We can vary the density of this brush by inserting suitable spacers between the rings.
The ring brushes are very simple and light elements. They are particularly suitable when one needs a roller brush with little diameter and high density.

BRUSH DIMENSIONS

In theory the outer diameter of the ring brush could have very large sizes. Practically, being the metallic core of the brush rather small, very long bristles can easily bend. So we can consider that the maximum diameter is about 500 mm using thick bristles.
The minimum diameter depends on the size Db of the ferrules, according to Table 3.1 that refers to Figure 3.2. The values of the thickness S are approximate.
